Zachowany przy ul. Srebrnej 12 pa\u0142acyk jest jednym z nielicznych historycznych budynk\u00f3w, kt\u00f3re przetrwa\u0142y przy tej ulicy. Inicjatorem budowy pa\u0142acyku by\u0142 rze\u017abiarz Aleksander Sikorski. Nie znamy architekta, kt\u00f3ry zaprojektowa\u0142 obiekt. Teren przy nowo wytyczonej ulicy Srebrnej Sikorski naby\u0142 w 1880 r. Od spadkobierc\u00f3w rze\u017abiarza nieruchomo\u015b\u0107 kupi\u0142a firma kamieniarska Wiktora Heurteaux i J\u00f3zefa Norblina. Firma skupia\u0142a cenionych rze\u017abiarzy i kamieniarzy, realizowa\u0142a du\u017ce pa\u0144stwowe i miejskie zam\u00f3wienia. Dzia\u0142aj\u0105ce przy Srebrnej przedsi\u0119biorstwo wykona\u0142o fragmenty coko\u0142u pomnika Adama Mickiewicza, pracowa\u0142o przy wystroju katedry \u015bw. Jana, ko\u015bcio\u0142a Naj\u015bwi\u0119tszego Zbawiciela oraz gmachu Zach\u0119ty. Firma dostarcza\u0142a materia\u0142y kamieniarskie do budowy licznych dom\u00f3w prywatnych, jak i budynk\u00f3w administracji publicznej. Posesja przy ul. W 1965 r. budynek wpisano do rejestru zabytk\u00f3w. Kompleksowy remont przeprowadzono w latach 70. Od 1974 r. pa\u0142acyk przy ul.
