Pomnik Fryderyka Chopina w parku \u0141azienkowskim w 1935 r. \/ Polona <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

To jednej z najbardziej znanych i rozpoznawanych warszawskich monument\u00f3w. \u0141azienkowski pomnik Fryderyka Chopina, ods\u0142oni\u0119ty 14 listopada 1926 r., by\u0142 zwie\u0144czeniem dekad stara\u0144 o uczczenie kompozytora w Warszawie. Urodzony w \u017belazowej Woli Chopin doros\u0142e \u017cycie zwi\u0105za\u0142 z Warszaw\u0105, z kt\u00f3rej ostatecznie wyjecha\u0142 na emigracj\u0119 tu\u017c przed wybuchem powstania listopadowego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pierwsze pr\u00f3by wystawienia pomnika wielkiemu kompozytorowi podj\u0119to ju\u017c w 1876 r., jednak <\/a>op\u00f3r w\u0142adz rosyjskich sprawi\u0142, \u017ce starania te uwie\u0144czy\u0142o zaledwie, a mo\u017ce a\u017c, wmurowanie w filar ko\u015bcio\u0142a \u015bw. Krzy\u017ca urny z sercem i tablicy epitafijnej Chopina. Idea pomnika, rozpalona w latach 70., od\u017cy\u0142a na nowo z pocz\u0105tkiem XX stulecia w obliczu zbli\u017caj\u0105cej si\u0119 setnej rocznicy urodzin kompozytora. Komitet budowy, powo\u0142any w 1901 r., zaj\u0105\u0142 si\u0119 nie tylko szukaniem lokalizacji, w\u015br\u00f3d kt\u00f3rych rozwa\u017cano plac Warecki czy park Ujazdowski oraz plac Teatralny, lecz tak\u017ce og\u0142oszeniem konkursu dla polskich artyst\u00f3w. Ostatecznie w 1909 r. wy\u0142oniono projekt Wac\u0142awa Szymanowskiego. Jednak pi\u0119trz\u0105ce si\u0119 problemy nie sprzyja\u0142y realizacji obiektu. Kiedy ju\u017c wydawa\u0142o si\u0119, \u017ce prace b\u0119d\u0105 mog\u0142y by\u0107 kontynuowane, wybuch\u0142a wojna. Prace przerwano, przesta\u0142 dzia\u0142a\u0107 komitet budowy, zagin\u0105\u0142 fragment wys\u0142anego do Pary\u017ca modelu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kolejne pr\u00f3by podj\u0119to ju\u017c w 1923 r. Pozyskane fundusze pozwoli\u0142y na wykonanie odlewu w paryskiej firmie Ferdinanda Barbedienne\u2019a. Zwie\u0144czeniem prac by\u0142o ods\u0142oni\u0119cie pomnika 14 listopada 1926 r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Utrzymany w secesyjnej stylistyce monument stan\u0105\u0142 nad owalnym basenem na cokole wykonanym z czerwonego w\u0105chockiego piaskowca. Autorem oprawy architektonicznej pomnika by\u0142 Oskar Sosnowski, za\u015b wykonanie powierzono firmie Antoniego Urbanowskiego z \u0141odzi. Zniszczony przez Niemc\u00f3w w 1940 r. pomnik zosta\u0142 odtworzony w latach 50. Uroczystego ods\u0142oni\u0119cia dokonano 11 maja 1958 r.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
