Niekt\u00f3re z nich by\u0142y raczej zarezerwowane dla w\u0105skiego i elitarnego grona odbiorc\u00f3w. Do takich nale\u017ca\u0142 niew\u0105tpliwie golf, kt\u00f3ry \u2013 cho\u0107 <\/a>znany na ziemiach Rzeczypospolitej jeszcze przed I wojn\u0105 \u2013 na dobre zadomowi\u0142 si\u0119 w Polsce w latach 20. XX stulecia, kiedy to w Warszawie powsta\u0142 Warsaw Golf Club. W\u00f3wczas na obszarze \u0142\u0105k siekierkowskich, w okolicach dzisiejszej ulicy Bartyckiej, za\u0142o\u017cono pole golfowe, niezb\u0119dne do uprawiana tego sportu. Powstanie pola golfowego by\u0142o zwi\u0105zanie z dzia\u0142alno\u015bci\u0105 dw\u00f3ch dyplomat\u00f3w akredytowanych nad Wis\u0142\u0105. Pierwszym by\u0142 powo\u0142any w 1920 r. na stanowisko szwedzkiego pos\u0142a w Warszawie Per Gustaf August Cossva Anckarsv\u00e4rd, drugim \u2013 przebywaj\u0105cy w Polsce w latach 1920-1928 sir William Grenfell Max Muller. Urz\u0105dzonemu na nadwi\u015bla\u0144skiej \u0142\u0105ce polu golfowemu daleko jednak by\u0142o do brytyjskich czy francuskich odpowiednik\u00f3w.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Korzystne zmiany nast\u0105pi\u0142y w latach 30. U progu tej dekady powo\u0142ana zosta\u0142a do \u017cycia sp\u00f3\u0142ka Polski Country Club, kt\u00f3ra postawi\u0142a sobie za cel utworzenie nowoczesnego pola golfowego. Poszukiwanie odpowiedniego miejsca zosta\u0142o uwie\u0144czone sukcesem \u2013 od hr. Adama Branickiego uda\u0142o si\u0119 wydzier\u017cawi\u0107 teren o powierzchni 50 ha w po\u0142o\u017conym przy Lesie Kabackim Powsinie. Pierwsze prace na terenie Powsina przeprowadzono jeszcze w 1932 r. Projekt zak\u0142ada\u0142 tak\u017ce budow\u0119 domku klubowego oraz kort\u00f3w tenisowych. Projekt klubowego obiektu z podcieniami wyszed\u0142 spod r\u0119ki Marcina Weinfelda, tw\u00f3rcy niebotyku Prudential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowe pole golfowe by\u0142o oddalone od Warszawy o zaledwie 12 km. W kr\u00f3tkim czasie Powsin sta\u0142 si\u0119 modnym miejscem wypoczynku i zabawy przedstawicieli finansjery, arystokrat\u00f3w i dyplomat\u00f3w. Ciekawostk\u0119 stanowi\u0142 fakt, i\u017c pierwszym sekretarzem klubu zosta\u0142 znany rysownik Antoni Uniechowski. W 1947 r. teren pola przekazano zarz\u0105dowi Miasta Sto\u0142ecznego Warszawy, a w kolejnym roku na terenie tym utworzono O\u015brodek Wczas\u00f3w \u015awi\u0105tecznych, przemianowany w 1956 r. na Park Kultury w Powsinie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
